Tank Storage Rotterdam — Our Primary Oil Terminal
At the Port of Rotterdam Maasvlakte, our primary terminal offers 850,000+ m³ of tank storage with direct pipeline access to the Pernis refinery cluster and the European hinterland.
About This Terminal
Why Rotterdam Is Our Primary Terminal
Our Rotterdam tank storage terminal sits at 17 Buraanweg Haven 300, in the Maasvlakte area of the Port of Rotterdam — Europe's largest port by cargo throughput and the primary gateway for petroleum products entering the continent. Maasvlakte's position at the mouth of the Nieuwe Waterweg gives vessels direct, deep-water access without transiting inland waterways, which is why it is the location we built our primary terminal around.
Rotterdam is our largest facility by capacity and the anchor of our terminal network. It is where most of our dedicated tank leasing is concentrated, and where the majority of our blending, heating, and lab testing services are based. Clients using our other terminals — Houston, Jurong, Fujairah, and Ningbo-Zhoushan — often coordinate Rotterdam storage as part of a wider, multi-location supply chain.
Strategically, the terminal's value comes from what it connects to. Rotterdam links directly by pipeline to the Pernis refinery cluster, one of the largest refining complexes in Europe, and to the Rotterdam-Rhine Pipeline, which reaches into the German industrial hinterland. Combined with barge and road tanker access, it gives clients a single point of entry into the European downstream market.
