Oil Storage Terminal Fujairah — Middle East Bunkering Hub

Our Fujairah oil storage terminal is located at the Port of Fujairah, on the UAE's east coast facing the Gulf of Oman. Unlike the terminals inside the Persian Gulf, Fujairah sits outside the Strait of Hormuz — which means vessels can call here to bunker or load without needing to transit the strait, making it one of the most efficient bunkering stops on the route between the Arabian Sea and the wider Indian Ocean.

That position has made Fujairah one of the world's largest bunkering hubs by volume, alongside Singapore and Rotterdam. Our terminal there is a subleased facility, operated to the same service standards as our primary Rotterdam terminal, and gives clients a Middle East storage and bunkering base without the transit delays associated with Gulf ports.

Fujairah is built around bunker fuel — VLSFO and HSFO in particular — reflecting the volume of shipping traffic that bunkers here before or after passing through the strait, alongside crude oil and diesel storage. It gives traders and shipowners a Middle East distribution point without dependency on any single Gulf state's port infrastructure.
